Even in the midst of these tough economic times, Oldham County residents and businesses have a lot to be thankful for today.  We are blessed with one of the most wonderful places to live in the state and in this country.  Our school system is one of the best in the nation and our teachers and school leadership really care about the welfare of our children and their future.  It is evident that parents here in Oldham County are very involved with their children when you go to a school event and there are at least 200 parents there to support their children and the school.

The quality of life in Oldham County and retaining the lifestyle we have here seems to be at the top of the list of priorities for most residents.  Preserving the quality of life in Oldham County and building our commercial business base in a sensible and responsible manner should be the top priority of every elected county official.  Our residential taxes will only continue to increase if Fiscal Court and our economic development staff fail to bring new businesses into Oldham County.  The Rawlings Corporation in Oldham Reserve is a prime example of the type of business we need to attract to grow our commercial business tax base and keep our property taxes in check.

I would like to play a role in the future of Oldham County as your District 4 Magistrate.  My primary goal is to communicate with every resident of District 4 in a timely manner so you will know what’s going on in county government.  I want to provide each resident a means to have input to decisions made on Fiscal Court that affect our county and the direction we need to take to protect our quality of life.

Thank you for visiting this web site and I hope that you will find the kind of information here to help you better understand our county government and the responsibilities that a Magistrate has in representing you and our District on Fiscal Court.  If elected as your Magistrate, on-going timely communication with each resident in District 4, obtaining your input and taking actions that you desire will be my primary objective.

Sincerely,
